Keyboard Shortcuts

Keyboard shortcuts work anywhere in the app unless you are typing in a text field.

ActionmacOSWindows / Linux
Open the Command Palette KCtrl K
Go back [ (browser shortcut)Alt (browser shortcut)
Refresh the current page RF5 / Ctrl R

There is no global ”/” search shortcut. The Command Palette is the only built-in search entry point and is opened with K / Ctrl K.

ActionKey
Move selection up
Move selection down
Open the highlighted resultEnter
Close the paletteEsc

Type text to filter both pages and entities (displays, media, layouts, playlists, display groups, campaigns, time windows, and — for administrators — groups). Results are debounced; let go of the keyboard for a moment to see updates if you are typing quickly.

ActionKey
Submit the dialogEnter (when the focused control is the primary button)
Cancel / closeEsc
Move between fieldsTab / Shift Tab

Confirmation dialogs that delete data require an explicit click on the destructive button. Pressing Enter in those dialogs does not confirm — this is intentional.

The layout editor is the most keyboard-heavy area of the app. Most shortcuts are documented in the editor’s own toolbar tooltips. The most common ones:

ActionShortcut
Undo Z / Ctrl Z
Redo Shift Z / Ctrl Y
Delete the selected elementDelete / Backspace
Nudge selection by 1 px
Nudge selection by 10 pxShift + arrow

See Layouts → The Designer for the full editor reference.

OTS Signs lists (Displays, Layouts, Media, etc.) all use the same table component, which supports:

ActionMethod
Select a single rowClick the row’s checkbox
Select all rows on the pageClick the header checkbox
Select a rangeClick one checkbox, then Shift+click another
Clear the selectionClick any checked checkbox again, or use Cancel in the bulk action bar

Sort columns by clicking the column header. Most columns are sortable; the cursor changes to a pointer when they are.

There is no keyboard shortcut for Help Mode — toggle it from the question-mark icon in the page header.
