Player Software
Player Software is where you upload and manage the player application files that run on your display hardware. OTS Signs distributes these files to displays so they can update themselves to a new version.
Where to find it: sidebar → Admin group → Player Software.
What you upload here
Section titled “What you upload here”For each player type you support, you can have one or more software versions on file. OTS Signs tracks:
- The type of player it’s for (Android, ChromeOS, Linux, SSSP, Tizen, WebOS, Windows).
- The version.
- A numeric code used to identify the release.
- The display version that players show in their UI.
- The actual installer or package file.
When a display checks in, OTS Signs may instruct it to download a newer version based on what’s been assigned to its display profile.
