Help Mode

Help Mode

Help Mode is an in-app overlay that surfaces inline tips next to form fields and labels. It is useful the first few times you use a form and easy to turn off once you know your way around.

Click the question-mark icon in the page header (top right of the main content area). The icon highlights when Help Mode is active.

While Help Mode is on:

  • Form labels show a small help indicator. Hover the label to read the tip.
  • Some fields include their tip permanently below the input as a description line.
  • Section headings in dialogs may include a short explainer paragraph at the top.

Click the icon again to turn Help Mode off. Your preference is saved per browser, so you do not have to toggle it every time.

Help Mode is wired through most edit dialogs and forms in the app, including:

  • The Display edit dialog (display name, profile, license code, etc.)
  • Schedule dialogs (priority, time windows, recurrence)
  • Layout properties
  • Account Settings
  • Folder permissions dialogs
  • Notification composer

If a form does not show tips with Help Mode on, the field has no tip configured — that is by design.
